Decatur County Democratic Party Announces Resignations of Vice Chairperson and Secretary
The Decatur County Democratic Party today announced the resignation of both the Vice Chairperson, Hollie Payton, and the Secretary, James Payton, effective December 31, 2024. Hollie Payton, Vice Chairperson, and James Payton, Secretary, have both decided to step down from their respective roles after two years of dedicated service to the party.
Their resignations mark the end of a significant chapter in the party’s leadership.In a joint statement, Hollie, the outgoing Vice Chairperson, said, ” I want to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunities I have had within the organization. Working with such a talented team at the local level has been a valuable experience, and I have learned a great deal during my time here.”Similarly, James, the outgoing Secretary, shared, “Serving as Secretary has been a deeply fulfilling experience, and I am proud of the work we have accomplished together.”
