5 PM update from Greensburg Fire Chief Nathan Stoermer
Here is the statement from Skybird Manor Management.
A spokesperson for Skybird Manor said repairs are underway at Sky Bird Manor and are expected to be completed on Saturday, March 1. Once the repairs are completed, the Greensburg Fire Department must inspect and approve the repairs. After the repairs are approved, Sky Bird Manor management will contact the building’s utility companies, Duke and Center Point, and ask for service to be restored. Once utility services are restored, residents can return to their homes.
Sky Bird Manor management continues coordinating with the American Red Cross and First Christian Church. Residents’ relocation at the warming center will be extended until utilities are restored.
