Greensburg Board of Zoning Appeals

The Greensburg Board of Zoning Appeals met on Tuesday.

Shawn Bainbridge requested a variance for the size of an accessory structure in an R2 zoning classification. This is for a new detached garage to be 40×60 ft. There are no other accessory structures and there have been no neighbor complaints. This was approved.

Chris and Kathy Harris requested a variance for size, distance, and number of accessory structures in an R2 zoning classification. This would be next to an existing concrete pad on a property with a shed on it. The garage will be 30×50 ft and there is no right of way infringement or neighbor complaints. This was approved.

AJM, LLC (Rural King) requested a variance for parking. Rural King is selling off 1 acre of the parking lot to Culvers. This parking variance is required as the sale reduces the number of spots from the required 589 spots to 542. This was approved.

Kevin Fleetwood requested a variance for size and location of an accessory structure in an R1 zoning classification. This is to put a structure on a vacant lot that has no street access and is a land locked parcel. They would like to place an accessory structure on this parcel with no primary residence. The structure would be 24×30 ft and there are no neighbor complaints. This was approved.

The next meeting will be May 3 due to the election date.
