Amy Roming with Plews Shadley Racher and Braun LLP presented the proposed settlement with Valeo Engine Cooling this is a Civil Penalty and resolution of an outstanding cease and desist order from the treatment works. This is dealing with allegations of Valeo where the found a filter treatment press was not being used and was removed in 2014, causing discharge. While this was not a risk to public health, it cause the treatment plant to use extra chemicals in order to filter the water. Valeo disputed that the press being removed altered the state of any water. The reached a settlement of $750,000 to reimburse the city of Greensburg discharge costs and the civil penalty. This was approved by the board of works.

Clerk Treasurer Amy Borns presented ordinance 2022-29 for the creation of a park road fund. This is for the park road project to begin collecting money into a centralized spot. This was approved. Resolution 2022-16 for a transfer of funds was approved. Resolution 2022-17 for additional appropriation was approved. The list of encumbrances was approved.
