Greensburg High School FFA Livestock Judging Team

The Greensburg High School FFA Livestock Judging Team traveled to the Dubois County Livestock Judging Invitational Contest on Saturday. The team left at 5:30 am in order to arrive on time for the contest held near Jasper.

The team finished second out of twelve teams competing and Evan Graves was the second high individual in the contest. The competition consisted of judging 6 total classes of livestock made up of swine, sheep, beef cattle, and goats. They had to answer questions on two classes and gave oral reasons on 2 classes.

Greensburg FFA members making the trip included Freshman Cody Case and Grace Schutte, Sophomores Kayla Kramer and Justin Bedel, and Juniors Michael Kulpinski and Evan Graves. The team is coached by Merrill Smith. Elizabeth Fry is the Ag Advisor at Greensburg High School.
