Greensburg Power of the Past Show Opens Wednesday August 19th

The 37th Annual Greensburg Power of the Past show officially opens today at the Decatur County Fairgrounds and runs through August 23rd.
The Power of the Past dates back to their 1st show in 1989 with 120 supporters signing on with a membership that now includes 400 plus family memberships.
Each year a different tractor is featured. 2026 is the year of the Ford tractor and Ford Lawn and Garden tractors along with New Holland gas engines. You’ll get the opportunity to see a variety of tractors, (all makes and models besides Ford), implements and chapters of history as you make your way across the vast tractor field!
Activities for this event include tractor pulls daily, a tractor cruise on Friday, tractor games and a tractor parade on Saturday, the kids and Adult pedal tractor pull, Daily flea market and crafts, toy show, Opening ceremonies and Noon whistle for the dinner hour and wrapping with the auction on Sunday!
Don’t forget to check out the music, food, (especially the homemade pies by the St. Lawrence Ladies Auxiliary), bingo, kids games and the Spark Show!
The show will be open daily at 8am thru 8pm and cost of admission is $5.00 per person or a wristband for $15.00 for the duration of the show.
