Washington, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Greg Pence (IN-06) today released the following statement:
“Hoosiers of the 6th District sent me to Washington to give them a voice in Congress and I have proudly supported the Trump-Pence Administration for four years as they kept their promises to the American people. The historic Republican-led tax reform kickstarted the roaring comeback of America’s economy, putting more money back into Americans’ own pockets. After months of delay from Democrat leadership who held American farmers and manufacturers hostage for a political vote on impeachment, Congress finally passed the United States-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement. The USMCA puts American workers first and I am proud to have fought for this deal in Congress. The Trump-Pence Administration is also one of the most pro-life administrations in recent history and we will always fight for the sanctity of human life. Whether veteran, small business owner or worker, the Trump-Pence Administration always put Americans first.
Today Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be sworn into office as President and Vice President of the United States and I wish them well. We may disagree about policy going forward, but we all believe in America and the opportunity of our great nation. I will be keeping them in my prayers as I continue to be a strong advocate for the Sixth District of Indiana.
