For nearly 250 years, generations of Americans have served our country in the military and protected the freedoms we cherish.
On Veterans Day, we honor their sacrifice by honoring those who served and remembering those who lost their lives protecting others. Today, I ask you keep all veterans and active-duty military personnel, and their families, in your prayers. Thousands of veterans call Indiana home, and I encourage you to honor them today, and every day, with your gratitude.
When we need them the most, our veterans answered the call to defend our nation. May we never forget their sacrifices, and may we never take our liberties for granted.
