The fire is under control and will be monitored throughout the evening. The fire was located on a property west of and across the road from the dairy farm, nearly 1/2 mile from the dairy barns. We store equipment and a small inventory of hay bales. There were no people injured or animals hurt or even at risk.
The Hulsbosch family dairy farm would like to extend our greatest and deepest appreciation to the Letts Community Volunteer Fire department and all of the assisting fire departments.. for a quick response and the amazing teamwork in fighting the fire and safe guarding the surrounding buildings. The fire departments will remain on site for several hours yet this evening…
The cause of the fire continues to be under investigation, appears as if an electrical issue may have been the cause.
