Kingdon Dugouts opened its doors on April 1, 2025, and held their ribbon cutting on April 4, 2025. Kingdon Dugouts is a woman owned business that is owned by Samantha Eicher. Kingdon Dugouts is proud to train champions on and off the field.

Kingdon Dugouts is a faith-based recreational sports facility located at 2311 IN-3, Greensburg, IN 47240 that offers a safe haven for local youth. They are located inside of the rear of the Access Medical building. They provide instruction in hitting pitching, catching, fielding, speed, and agility. In addition, they offer a variety of softball and baseball camps and clinics. The facility is also available for rentals, including birthday party bookings.
“Youth sports has become a huge economic development driver, and I am glad to see Kingdon Dugouts opening” stated by Bryan Robbins, Economic Development Corporation.
Mayor Josh Marsh said, “The city of Greensburg is always glad to see the re-use of an empty building. I remember meeting with Samantha about 9 months ago and I am glad to see it all come together. This is just another opportunity for our community to enjoy Greensburg.”
Samantha states that she had a calling to do something, and she had played softball and wanted to focus on creating a safe haven for youth. After touring the empty warehouse, she and her husband thought about their vision. They went back and prayed with their church family and spoke with community members and made the decision to take the jump to create and open Kingdon Dugouts.
Samantha is supported and assisted by her husband Walter and their 5 daughters-Serenity, Symphony, Sincerity, Syliah, and Sabella.
Samantha stated in a post on the Kingdon Dugout’s Facebook page that- “The name Kingdon is dear to our hearts because Walter and I lost our sons early in pregnancy. We lost Kingdon January 2015 and soon afterward found out we were blessed with our rainbow baby Symphony. We lost our second son, Princeton, February 2019. He would have been Syliah’s twin brother.”
Samantha added that Kingdon Dugouts is a place for everyone to have fun and a place that everybody is somebody.
