INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health today announced that 2,855 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 637,987 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.A total of 11,346 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 67 from the previous day. Another 406 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Decatur County adds a COVID death bringing the number of residents how have died to 88. 2633 positives (50 new) and 11,149 tests (51 new) Bartholomew County – 7008 positives (51 new) and 36,536 tests (141 new) Jennings – 2077 positives (6 new) and 9615 tests (28 new) Ripley County – 3147 positives (17 new) and 12,625 tests (36 new) Shelby County has had 86 residents die (1 new), 4439 positives (23 new) and 17,690 tests (55 new) Rush County – 21 deaths (1 new), 1601 positives (2 new) and 7446 tests (22 new) Franklin County – 1557 positives (8 new) and 6023 tests (20 new) To date, 2,999,073 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 2,989,069 on Friday.
