 HEALTH DEPARTMENT UPDATES STATEWIDE COVID-19 CASE COUNTS
INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health today announced that 2,565 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 611,039 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.A total of 9,340 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 23 from the previous day. Another 376 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days.         

Decatur County has had 2489 positives (13 new) and 10,764 tests (50 new)
Bartholomew County has had 6523 positives (39 new) and 35,060 tests (137 new)
Jennings County has had 1993 positives (4 new) and 9280 tests (27 new)
Ripley County has had 46 residents die (1 new), 3000 positives (16 new) and 12,249 tests (61 new)
Frankliin County – 1490 positives (7 new) and 5798 tests (26 new)
Shelby County – 4195 positives (21 new) and 17,137 tests (54 new)
Rush County – 1558 positives (7 new) and 7185 tests (31 new)

 To date, 2,900,051 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 2,890,956 on Saturday.
