Three Arrested Following Investigation I-74

Greensburg, Ind. — On January 7, 2026 at approximately 1:04 A.M., the Greensburg Police Officer Nick Polley conducted a traffic stop on west-bound I-74 at the 132 mile marker. 
 
Officer Polley was investigating a traffic offense and later learned that one of the three occupants of the vehicle had a warrant for their arrest out of Johnson County, Indiana. Upon further investigation, Officer Polley developed reasonable suspicion to deploy his K-9 Partner Bradly. K-9 Bradly indicated there was an odor of narcotics emitting from the vehicle. Officer Polley conducted a search and located cocaine, heroin and a firearm with an altered serial number. 
 
The driver of the vehicle, Kristofer Kinmon, 31 of Indianapolis, has been preliminarily charged with the following crimes: Possession of a Firearm with an altered Serial Number, a Level 5 Felony, Possession of a Narcotic Drug (Cocaine), a Level 5 Felony, Possession of a Narcotic Drug (Heroin), a Level 5 Felony, Unlawful carrying of a handgun, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Possession of Paraphernalia, a Class C Misdemeanor. 
 
A passenger of the vehicle, Patricia Gregory, 57 of Indianapolis, has been preliminarily charged with the following crimes: Possession of a Narcotic Drug (Cocaine), a Level 6 Felony and Possession of Paraphernalia, a Class C Misdemeanor. 
 
The other passenger, Christopher Winkler, 36 of Indianapolis, has been preliminarily charged with Possession of Narcotic (Cocaine) and a Warrant issued by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

Under Indiana Law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed to be innocent unless, and until they are proven guilty in a court of Law.
