Angie Reynolds and Matt Slaven are the newest members of the Decatur County United Fund Board of Directors.
[Greensburg, IN February 12, 2025—] Decatur County United Fund recently announced the election of two new members at the February Board of Directors meeting. The Board is leading our efforts to create the kind of community we all want to live in. Where every child graduates and achieves their dreams, where every person has a good job that allows them to fully provide for their family, and where every family is stronger because they are healthy.
The new members of the Board are Angie Reynolds of First Financial Bank,

and Matt Slaven of the Greensburg Jr. High School.

Angie comes to the board currently as HR Communications Manager of First Financial Bank and has been with the bank for eighteen years. As HR Communications Manager, Angie plays an integral role in organizing recognition events, company wellbeing program, the First Financial Bank annual giving campaign, and associate engagement. Angie also oversees all HR Communications and the associate intranet. She, along with her husband, Cris, and children, are natives of Greensburg. She is a graduate of Greensburg Community High School and graduated from Purdue University – West Lafayette with a degree in Visual Communication Design. She enjoys pickleball, games, Zumba, working in the yard, home improvements, and decorating. Angie is a former Carousel Play & Learn Center Board member
and also served on the Decatur County Family YMCA Board; where her final role was Board President. She has served as a St. Mary’s catechist, helped with the St. Mary’s directory, and the St. Mary’s Legacy Campaign. Angie noted she is, “Thrilled to join this group and be a force for good.”
Matt Slaven comes to the board as a health/fitness teacher at the Greensburg Jr. High School and has been with the school corporation for 15 years. He is a lifelong resident of Greensburg. He graduated from North Decatur High School, went to IUPUI for his Bachelor’s in Education and then to Walden University for his Masters. Matt is married with three children. He enjoys working outside, working out, running, and camping. He is involved as a religious education teacher at St. Mary’s, and has coached multiple sports: cross country, basketball, softball. Matt shared, “I am excited to join an organization that’s focused on serving the community in various ways.”
Other board members include Sally Cuskaden of Farm Credit Mid-America as the 2025 President of United Fund’s Board of Directors, Kristen Fry of Honda Development and Manufacturing of America – Indiana Auto Plant as 1st Vice President, Stephanie Kress of Rolfes, Garvey, Walker, & Robbins as 2nd Vice President, and Nick Wallpe of RBSK Partners PC as Secretary/Treasurer. Additional board members include: Brett Abplanalp of Decatur County REMC, Scott Hadler of Raftelis, Bob Johannigman of Johannigman Excavating, Blake O’Mara of O’Mara Foods, and Scott Wesseler of Delta Faucet. Student directors include Garrett Schwering at North Decatur High School, Carmin Ripperger at Greensburg High School, and Makayla Somers at South Decatur High School.
Joane Cunningham, Executive Director, shared, “Our board members contribute to the future vision of the Decatur County United Fund. Their experience brings greater insight, new energy, and passion, along with furthering our mission of ‘Together Building Hope, Health & Stability for Our Community’. These two individuals, in addition to our current board members, will continue to work together to provide positive measurable change for the community. No one person can do this work alone, but collectively, we can do so much more. I look forward to working with the new members and tapping in on their expertise as well.”
