Strong winds is still the biggest threat for Decatur. Highest threat for Tornados us just south of us and biggest hail threat is just to our west, but the strong wind threat is over the whole stat of Indiana. Please stay weather aware this evening and into tomorrow morning. You will also want to pay attention to the weather updates closely again Wednesday as an even stronger storm moves across the state.

Highlights from the NWS in Indy

  • Strong to severe thunderstorms today with general timing from 2 PM to 11 PM.
  • Damaging winds are the greatest threat, with large hail and some tornadoes also possible.
  • Isolated flooding today with more widespread flooding later in the week as additional rounds of heavy rain and thunderstorms impact the area.
  • Severe thunderstorms are possible again on Wednesday.
