HEALTH DEPARTMENT UPDATES STATEWIDE COVID-19 CASE COUNTS
INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health today announced that 2,260 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 617,176 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.A total of 9,470 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 40 from the previous day. Another 375 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days.         

Decatur County has had 2502 positives (3 new) and 10,825 tests (25 new)
Bartholomew County -6684 positives (26 new) and 35,448 tests (84 new)
Jennings – 2014 positives (5 new) and 9343 tests (14 new)
Ripley – 3030 (14 new) and 12,333 positives (34 new) and 47 deaths (1 new)
Franklin County – 1516 positives (17 new) and 5858 tests (26 new)
Shelby County – 4255 positives (20 new) and 17,267 tests (43 new) and 82 deaths (1 new)
Rush County – 1572 positives (8 new) and 7242 tests (30 new)

 To date, 2,920,127 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 2,912,183 on Tuesday.
