Brenner Hanna breaks her own school record

The Lady Pirates traveled to Nashville Saturday morning to compete in the Brown County Talon Relays. The Greensburg girls placed 4th overall in the 7 team relay scored event. Despite the very wet conditions the Lady Pirates competed very well.

One of the biggest moments of the day came from the fastest female distance runner in Greensburg history. Brenner Hanna broke her own previous school record of 11:23.09 and won the open 3200m race by over a :40s margin. Hanna’s new school record of 10:57.92 crowned her the 2021 Brown County Talon Relay 3200m Champion. 
Other big performances came from the Lady throwers. Runner Up Champion duo of Emarie Jackson and Shayelyn Hess threw a combined 175′ 5″ in discus to earn second in the relay event. The 4 x 100 Relay team of Hilary Ernstes, Emily Million, Reyna Wilson, and Kayla Haycock placed 3rd with their speedy performance.
Other Scoring Relay Teams include 4th Place Distance Medley Relay – Emma Wilmer, Ava Wilmer, Kylee Simpson, Malana Kramer 800m Relay – Hilary Ernstes, Emily Million, Ava Wilmer, Kayla Haycock. Sprint Medley Relay – Hilary Ernstes, Emily Million, Reyna Wilsom, Kayla Haycock. 3200m Relay – Malana Kramer, Brenner Hanna, Emma Wilmer, Ally Foster. Shot Put Duo – Emarie Jackson & Shayelyn Hess
