Chargers finish 2nd of 8 in Golf action

The Chargers traveled to Shadowood Golf Course in Seymour, IN to play in the Cougar Invite hosted by Trinity Lutheran.  In their first 18-hole event of the year, the Chargers had a strong showing, finishing with a 337, behind only Fishers, who ended the day with a 320.  The Chargers were led by a +3 score of 75 put up by Collin Bryant, which was a personal best, and good enough to claim the individual medalist in field of 42 golfers.  Carson Parmer added a 79, Brady Espinda ended the day with a 90, and Jack Koehne’s 93 rounded out the top four.  Xavier Adams wasn’t far behind, finishing the day with a 97.  The Chargers’ 337 was 22 strokes better than the score turned in at the same Invitational last year.  The team will be in action again Friday, May 6th against Connersville at Willowbrook GC.
