The North Decatur Chargers played Edinburg on their home court for the third round of Sectional. North started strong with the first possession of the game. Scoring quickly the first quarter the Chargers had the lead 15-8. The Lancers hit several three point shots but the Chargers answered right back concluding the second quarter 23-21. Halftime changed some of the speed for the third quarter with low scoring on both sides. North had the lead 34-25. The Lancers ran into some foul trouble allowing the Chargers to continue to take an extended lead. Final Score North Decatur 49 Edinburg 36. North Decatur advances to Regionals. The Chargers will play the winner of the game between Anderson Prep and Liberty Christian.
