The South Decatur Cougars battled Eastern Greene in the first round of sectionals. Eastern Greene scored early but the Cougars answered back with a touch down of their own. Eastern Greene held the lead going into halftime 14-7. The back and forth of the third quarter had the score tied. However Easter Greene took off and dominated the rest of the game. Eastern Greene advances to round two with a final score of Eastern Greene 41 South Decatur 20.
