GCHS Thursday Tennis results

Greensburg lost to Shelbyville in a tight match, 3-2. Playing very well and winning for the Pirates were Mason McNulty 6-2 6-2, and Brody Sanders 6-2, 6-4. Will Weber came up short getting beat 7-5, 6-4 and our two doubles team of Jaxson  Phillips and Max Buening were quickly defeated 6-0 6-2. Our #1 doubles team played probably their best match of the year, but lost 7-6(2), 6-3. In JV action, Jonah Wheat lost 8-1, Liam Shrader lost 8-1, and our doubles team of Rylan Kraushar and Simeon Wheat lost 6-3. We finished the season 12-3, second in the conference and have sectionals next week at Columbus North.
