The Greensburg Junior High Cross Country teams hosted a dual meet against Benjamin Rush on Thursday night. The Pirates beat the Lions 19 to 42. The Lady Pirates lost to the Rushville team 30 to 25.
The Boys were led by the Individual Meet Champion Quinton Walker while the Girls Team was led by Runner Up Champion Madeline Risher. Several individuals ran their fastest home course times. Henry Corya, Madeline Risher, Sophie Buening, Tensley Brewsaugh, and Maddie Brewsaugh made improvements from the previous home meet.
The Pirate Harriers will compete again next Tuesday in the Waldron Mohawk Invitational.
