The Greensburg 7th grade girls’ basketball team went on the road and defeated Seymour by a score of 43 to 31. After leading by two points at halftime the Pirates came out and took control of the game in the second half. Sophie Buening had a huge game with 32 points. She was followed by Alivia Bishop 4, Lulu Webb 3, Mila Dehoff 2, and Makayla Kieffer 2.
Greensburg 8th grade girls’ basketball team traveled to Seymour Tuesday evening to take on the Owls. Greensburg won the game by a score of 50-20. Kahlen Adams led the way with 30 points. She was followed by Sophie Buening 6, Carly Greiwe 5, Aubrie Barnes-Petitt 5, Becky Huang 2, and Maya Kennelly 2. The pirates are back in action on Thursday at home against Connersville.
