Greensburg defeated a very solid Lawrenceburg team last night 3-2. First off the court with an impressive win was our #1 singles player Jenna Foster winning 6-1, 6-2. Next off was Abigail Hoeing @ #2 singles, playing well, winning 6-3, 6-0. Josie Nobbe was defeated at #3 singles 3-6, 4-6, and our #1 doubles team of Ella Chapman and Janae Comer lost 5-7, 4-6. The match came down to our #2 doubles team of Morgan Cain and Hailey Duerstock and they were able to pull it out. They got off to a great start, winning the first set 6-1, but then lost the second set 4-6. After gaining their composure, they lost the first game of the third set, but then settled in to take the third set 6-2. In JV action, Leah West lost 5-7, Kayla Kramer won 6-4, and our jv doubles team of Annie Pumphrey and Claire Nobbe lost a close one 6-7 (4-7). We are now 5-1 in conference play, 10-2 overall.
