Greensburg Tennis

Greensburg took down the Olympians 5-0 tonight, playing hard, and getting off to quick starts on all courts. First to capture a victory was #1 singles player, Mason McNulty, winning 6-0, 6-1. Mason did a great job bouncing back after a tough match the night before. He was in control from beginning to end. After him, #3 singles player, Brody Sanders gave us our second point winning 6-1, 6-2. Brody, too, played well and stayed in control the entire match. Our #2 doubles team of Max Buening and Jaxson Phillips sealed the victory with our third point winning 6-4, 6-2. Will Weber, at #2 singles played a very good opponent and battled to win 6-3, 6-4. Our final point came from #1 doubles players Logan Fisse and Luke Schwering winning 6-2, 4-6, 11-9 in a super tiebreaker.  In JV action, Jonah Wheat was defeated 8-4, Liam Shrader lost, 8-4, and our doubles team of Rylan Kraushar and Simeon Wheat were also defeated 8-4. This win makes our varsity 9-2 and we travel to Batesville tomorrow night.
