Lady Cougars battled Oldenburg in the SouthWestern Regional play on Saturday afternoon. Slow moving first half was back and forth in point scoring. Hitting a three at the buzzer the Cougars took the lead at the end of one 13/11. Second quarter was more of the same but becoming for physical. South still managed to lead the Twisters by two 22/18. Second half was impressive as the Cougar Nation cheer group was loud and clear over the airwaves. After being down by six in the fourth quarter Oldenburg came back. Time was running out and it was time that gave South Decatur the Regional win. South Decatur 40 Oldenburg 39.
