The Charger boys varsity golf team traveled to Arbor Crossing Friday nightto play the Rushville Lions and Waldron Mohawks in a 9-hole meet. The Chargers won the match with a score of 193. Rushville was second with a 197, and Waldron shot a 213. The team was led by Micah Smith (season low) and Owen Arnold (career low), each shooting a 47. Aiden Luttel shot a 48, and Scott Morford provided the 4th score with a 51. Kobe Hoeing and Brayden Yeager each played in the varsity match, ending the night with a 53 and 56 respectively.
Three of the JV Chargers got to participate as well. Adam Whatley shot a 53, Cooper Land ended the night with a 63, and Cal Shelton shot a 68. The Chargers will play again on Tuesday, 4/14, hosting the South Decatur Cougars at North Branch.
