The 8th grade North Decatur Chargers boy’s basketball team hosted the Morristown Yellow Jackets on Thursday. The team started out with a stout press defense taking a 10 and 11 point lead in the first two quarters of action. The lead extended more in the second half seeing North getting some great shots! Davis Scripture and Ross Gorrell each put up 18 points and Troy Brown inside with 14 points. Team effort on defense all-around picked kept the tone throughout the game. North extends their record to 14-1 and will face County rival – South Decatur on January 20 at North Decatur.
