North Decatur Chargers Varsity Softball Pitchers combine to shutout Waldron Jr./Sr. High



North Decatur Chargers Varsity defeated Waldron Jr. / Sr. High School 17-0 on Wednesday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Sarah Swain induced a fly out from K Ziegler to finish off the game.
North Decatur Chargers Varsity secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the third inning. North Decatur Chargers Varsity put the pressure on, lead by singles by Keisha Crosland, Bobbie-Jean Trask, Kacie Ogden, Morgan Stanley, and Kaylin Muckerhide and a walk by Kennedy Stier.
North Decatur Chargers Varsity got things moving in the first inning, when Muckerhide drew a walk, scoring one run.
North Decatur Chargers Varsity tallied ten runs in the third inning. North Decatur Chargers Varsity offense in the inning was led by Crosland, Trask, Ogden, Stier, Stanley, and Muckerhide, all knocking in runs in the inning.
