Thursday evening the North Decatur girls golf team traveled to Brook Hill Golf Club to face Franklin County and South Dearborn on the front 9. Franklin County won the match with a team score of 174 to the Chargers 204. South Dearborn did not have enough golfers to post a team score. Emma Tollhurst was the individual medalist with a score of 38.
The Chargers were led by Carmen Thackery with 48 followed by Mary Stier (50), Ellie Grote (51), and Grace Nobbe (55) to complete the team score. Chase Christianson (56), Macy Kinker (58), Jaylynne Krahn (60), and Addie Nugent also competed.
Next up the Chargers host Greensburg and Franklin County at North Branch on Monday 8/25.
