- Chargers fired up the offense in the first inning, when Sarah Swain grounded out, scoring one run.
- Chargers put up five runs in the second inning. The rally was led by a single by Swain, by Keesha Crosland, a fielder’s choice by Kennedy Stier, and an error on a ball put in play by Kayln Muckerhide.
- Crosland was the winning pitcher for Chargers. The righthander went six innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out 12 and walking zero.
- Schmidt took the loss for Milan High School. The bulldog went five and a third innings, allowing 11 runs on ten hits and striking out three.
- Chargers totaled ten hits. Swain, Muckerhide, Kacie Ogden, and Ally Whitaker each racked up multiple hits for Chargers. Whitaker, Ogden, Muckerhide, and Swain each managed two hits to lead Chargers.
