| The Lady Chargers took on the Franklin County Wildcats on Thursday, Aug 29th and both Varsity and JV teams came out with easy wins! Varsity won in 3 with Madi Allen leading in kills with 16, Miley Scudder contributed 9 kills, Sydney Rohls added 6 kills and both Sarah Moeller and Sophie Rohls added 5 kills. Kelsey Haley enabled the offense with 35 assists on the night. Defensely, the whole team was focused across the board with Hannah Gorrell picking up 13 digs, Madi Allen grabbed 10 digs, Sydney Rohls picked up 9 digs and Kelsey Haley had 7 digs on the night. Clare Kinker, Sarah Moeller and Miley Scudder each contributed with 5 digs as well. Sydney Rohls had a strong serving night with 4 aces and 0 errors on 25 attempts! Moeller and Scudder served up 2 aces and Gorrell and Haley eached served 1 ace. JV won in 2 (25-16, 25-12)! Our serving game was strong, we only missed 3 serves total as a team and Eliza Kennelly and Brynlee Green both served 2 aces, Sara Litmer, Ellie Johnson and Maggie Burkhart each served 1 ace. Ellie Johnson, Brynlee Green and Oakley Freel led the offense with 2 kills each, Maggie Burkhart and Lydia Rennekamp both added 1 kill. Burkhart set up the offense with 6 assists. Eliza Kennelly had a great defensive game, picking up 8 digs, Oakley Freel and Ellie Johnson both grabbed 5 digs. Burkhart picked up 3 digs and Haylee Schoettmer grabbed 2 digs. The Chargers head to Jac-Cen-Del next on Tuesday 9/3! JV starts at 5:30PM. |
