NORTH DECATUR HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS VARSITY VOLLEYBALL North Decatur High School Girls Varsity Volleyball beat Flashes Invite 3-1 Saturday, August 21, 2021 The Lady Chargers had a successful day on the road, at the Flashes Invite, finishing the day 3-1. First up, the Chargers faced host team Franklin Central. After dropping the first set, the Chargers rallied and picked up Set 2 but dropped Set 3 in a hard fought match. Our second match of the morning was vs. Scottsburg. The Lady Chargers won Set 1 but fell in Set 2 which led to another 3 set match! The Chargers held strong to pull out the victory, 15-11. The Chargers faced Columbus North in match 3 and were able to clench the win with great communication and teamwork. Match 4 was secured in 2 quick sets vs. Fort Wayne South. Overall, we played good volleyball today! We faced teams we typically wouldn’t play in the season and the experience is great, especially early on when we are trying to work our various aspects of our lineup. The Lady Chargers are now 4-3 for the season and are set to face Rushville on Monday, 8/23 @ Rushville! |
