The South Decatur seventh grade volleyball team started the season on Saturday, August 20 with a victory over Columbus Christian. The Cougars won 25–20 and 25–22. Top servers for the Cougars were Dalilah Martin (11 for 15), Raegan Benge (8 for 12), and Anna Huckelberry (6 for 11).
The Seventh grade team fell to Jac-Cen-Del last night in three sets 14-25, 25-22, and 12-15. Top servers were Raegan Benge (13 for 15), Dalilah Martin (7 for 9), and Carly Shook (5 for 7).
The Eighth grade girls won in their first game of the season against Jac-Cen-Del last night. The Cougars won in three sets 25-15, 24-25, and 15-12. Top servers for the team were Carmen Kroger (12 for 14), Taylor Somers (8 for 11) and Liz Bennett (5 for 5).
The Lady Cougars travel to St. Peters in Columbus on Monday for their next contest.
