| An exciting win for the Varsity Lady Chargers Thursday evening led to Coach Ashley Gauck winning her 100th game! The Chargers shut down Union County in 3 sets by playing well as a team and staying aggressive on the offense and hustling on defense. Madelyn Bohman led the offense with 16 kills, and she picked up 10 digs and had 5 assists. Caroline Stapp put away 15 kills and picked up 9 digs and set up 4 assists. Sami Luttel connected well with her hitters with her 31 assists and she served 6 aces on the night. Madi Allen put away 5 kills. Caroline Kennelly and Aubrey Kennelly both picked up 8 digs. What an exciting night to lead the ND Chargers into Sectional Week! The team will play Milan on Tuesday, Oct 12th at South Ripley to start off the tourney. The JV Lady Chargers fell in their game against Union County. The team connected well and had a lot of great plays but unfortunately didn’t pull off the win. Tyce Robbins had 11 digs on the night, Kelsey Haley and Anna Mauer had 6, Clare Kinker 5 digs, Madison Motz 4 and Zoey Hersley 3 digs. Skyla Wade put away 4 kills and Gabi Adams had 3. Sofia Gonzalez, Kelsey Haley and Tyce each had 1 ace. |
