Amber Nichole Coblentz, 40, of Greensburg, passed away at 5:54 A.M. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 12, 1981 in Greensburg, the daughter of Daniel Coblentz & Lorene Ruble.
She was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and a 1999 graduate of Greensburg Community High School.Amber was a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo. She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and spending time with her kids. Survivors include her mother, Lorene (Jesse) Moody; father,Daniel (Diana) Coblentz;fiancé, James Nash; daughter, Heavenleigh Howard;sons, Christian Richey
and Skyler Richey all of Greensburg; sisters, Jennifer Myers of Monroe, North Carolina and Jamie Hatfield of Rushville; grandfather, Chris Coblentz of Mayslick, Kentucky; grandson, Andrew Clarke and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leland and Norma Ruble and Sarah Coblentz. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Mike Bartlett officiating with cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, October 16 from 12:00 P.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. We ask visitors to follow social distancing guidelines inside the funeral home and masks are recommended.
