Andrew Wade Williams, 61, of Greensburg, passed away at 2:19 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Franciscan Health Center in Indianapolis. He was born on October 17, 1959 in Greensburg, the son of Ira Basil & Mildred (Richey) Williams. He was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and graduated from South Decatur High School in 1977. He worked at Delta Faucet for 29 ½ years and had also worked for Decatur County Community Schools for 10 years. Andrew was a member of the New Beginnings Assembly of God. He enjoyed darts, golfing, hunting, handyman construction projects, guns, caving and spending time with his family. He married Teresa Mae Cain on August 31, 1991 in Greensburg and she survives. Other survivors include his mother, Mildred Williams; daughters, Amber (Josh) McKinley and Chasity Coons both of Greensburg; son, Michael Trautman of Milan; brother, Tim (Anna) Williams of Noblesville and 3 granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his father; grandson, Travis Coons; brother, David Williams and a sister, Barbara Ashley. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Rev. Dana Richey officiating. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 2:00 until time of service at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Following his wishes cremation will follow. We advise visitors to follow social distancing guidelines inside the funeral home and masks are recommended.
