Bernice Charlene Gray, born September 14, 1931 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 3, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born the daughter of Donald (Pete) and Mable Wise. She is survived by Steve (Bonnie) Powers, Diane Powers, Sandra Cain, Kathy (Daniel) Miller, Bruce (Becky) Myers; sisters Lu Ann Burns and Jane Jacobs, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents; her brothers: William Innis, Robert Innis, Samual Innis, Donald Wise, Richard Wise; sister, Barbara Draper; son, Terry Myers; and C.B. Gray. Also, a grandson and granddaughter. She was a member of Metamora Church of God. She loved to cook, especially her homemade noodles. She was very well known for her big heart and generosity. She will be missed by her family, friends, and her church family.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Metamora Church of God, 20152 US-52, Laurel, IN 47024. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 1:00 pm, also at the church. Burial will follow the services at Rossburg Cemetery in New Point.
