Bruce Stewart Corya, age 76, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah, Georgia, on March 21, 2024. He was born on December 5, 1947, the son of Stewart and Thelma Corya. Bruce graduated from Burney High School in 1965, received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1969, and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 1972. Bruce is survived by his wife Kathi, and his sister, Mary Ruth. He and his joy for life, travel, and good times will be greatly missed by family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Greensburg on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 9:30am with Father John Meyer officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Decatur County Community Foundation or to the donor’s choice.
