Charles E. “Ned” Faulkner, 71, of Westport, passed away at 6:55 p.m. on Tuesday,
March 26, 2024 in Seymour, Indiana. He was born on July 13, 1952 in Greensburg,
the son of Charles Ross and Gene S. (Porter) Faulkner. He was a resident of
Westport for the majority of his life and graduated from South Decatur High
School. He served on the Westport Town Board. He retired from Muscatutuck State
Hospital. He was an Eagle Scout and an avid outdoorsman. Ned enjoyed hunting &
fishing, music and playing the piano, collecting antiques and Indian artifacts
and helping his family with their antique business. He is survived by his
daughter, Amanda (Doug) Wolf of Westport; son, Charles Christopher Faulkner; his
beloved grandson, Jalen Wolf; sisters, Nancy Gilliland of Indianapolis, Cindy
(Stephen) Goddard of Fishers, Mary Ann (Terry) Graue of Westport and Rebecca
(Robert) Barker of Greensburg; a brother, David Ross Faulkner of Greensburg and
several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Following
his wishes he will be cremated. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home has been entrusted
with the arrangements. Burial will take place at a later date at the Westport
Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Westport Volunteer Fire
