Charlotte Robbins, 94, of Westport, passed away at 1:20 a.m. on Friday, December
23, 2022, at Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg. She was born on January 1,
1928, in Decatur County, the daughter of Earl and Dorothy (Stoneking) Cann. She
had been a lifelong resident of Westport and graduated from Jackson Township
High School. She was a member of the Baker’s Dozen Home Economics Club.
Charlotte enjoyed remaking Berenguer doll babies, doing craft projects and
decorating cakes out of her home. She married Lowell Henry Robbins on August 17,
1946, in Westport. He preceded her in death on January 13, 2002. Charlotte is
survived by her daughters; Carolyn (Tom) Kobe of Battle Creek, Michigan and Mary
(Mike) Robbins-Nierste of Zionsville; her son, Michael (Carolyn) Robbins of
Westport; her sister, Alberta Clark of Westport; her six grandchildren and her
seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband
and her sister, Wilma Jean Carr. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00
p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022, at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home with Pastor
Mike Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow at the Westport Cemetery. A time
of visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until
time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made
