Christopher Joseph Hermann, 53

Christopher Joseph Hermann, 53, passed away Tuesday morning,
January 24th, 2023, at his residence near Westport Indiana. He was
born December 24th, 1969, in Connersville Indiana to Edward Joseph
and Glenda Gail (Mitchell) Hermann. Chris is survived by his five
children, Abigail Lynn (Kaitlynn) Boyer of Spartanburg SC., Andrew
Joseph (Kristina) Hermann of Westport IN., Anthony Franklin
Hermann of Westport IN., Arin Aleesha (William Rombilus) Hermann
of Summerton SC., and Anna Roselle Hermann of Mooresville IN.  His
two amazing grandchildren; Autumn Rose and Russell Joseph Hermann.
His father Edward Joseph Hermann of Connersville, IN. His two
sisters; Rachel Anne (Joey) Nuxoll of Rushville, IN, Margaret May
(Derek) DeBusk of Carthage, IN along with his nieces and nephew:
Cecilia Russell, Wyatt Russell, Adelle Nuxoll, Dreama Nuxoll-
Holton. His mother Glenda Hermann and his aunt Diane Mitchell
along with his grandparents Harry and Rosella Hermann preceded him
in death. While having five biological children of his own that
did not stop his children’s friends from calling him dad also,
something that always made him smile. He was always willing to
lend a hand or an ear to anybody who needed it. Chris was a very
proud father, grandfather, and Veteran, having served in both the
Army and the Navy.  Anybody who knew Chris knew he was always
happiest when he was surrounded by his family and friends. A few
of Chris’s favorite things were old Farmall tractors, old Ford
trucks, classic rock, Johnny Cash, peanut butter blossom cookies,
Sundrop and Reeses. While Chris couldn’t really cook, he always
managed to make the best deviled eggs to bring to family dinners.
Chris was a good man, a great friend, and the best father and
grandfather. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on
Friday, February 3, 2023, at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home with
Mr. J. D. Fish officiating. A time of visitation will be held from
10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral
home. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery with military
graveside rites. Memorial contributions may made to help with
