Clarence “Sonny” Delbert Ruble, 76, of Indianapolis, passed away at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Rural Health Care Center in Indianapolis. He was born on November 16, 1944 in Greensburg, the son of Elza Delbert & Grace (Tempest) Ruble. He had been a resident of Westport and Greensburg the majority of his life. Sonny graduated from Sandcreek High School in 1962 and was in the National Guard. He retired from Delta Faucet in 1996. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, coon dogs and watching football and basketball. He married Gloria (Craft) Ruble in Westport, on March 4, 1967. She preceded him in death in February of 2008. Survivors include daughters, Carrie Corbin and Crystal Ruble both of Shelbyville; sisters, Patricia (Ray) Robbins of Westport and Teresa (David) Arnett of Greensburg; brothers, John (Linda) Ruble of Columbus andPaul (Betty) Ruble of Jamestown, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his parents; wife and sons, Stephen Ruble and Kevin L. Ruble. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Rev. Glenn Black officiating. Burial will follow at the Westport Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
