Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Donna Alicia (Byard) Wagner, passed away at home surrounded by her family, on February 24, 2026, at age 72. Donna was the daughter of Walter and Yuma (Leffler) Byard, she spent her childhood in Greensburg, and graduated from Greensburg High School in 1972. She married her high school sweetheart, Steven Wagner on April 22, 1973 and they began a life filled with love, laughter, and happiness. She was always supportive and ready for a new adventure. She held several different jobs over the years, and retired from Valeo Engine Cooling in 2015 and was a lifelong resident of Decatur County.
In her life, Donna was a devoted wife and mother and a wonderful friend to many. Donna was a most loving, kind, and generous lady. She always put everyone else first. In her life she had a quick, easy smile that would light up any room. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to tropical destinations, being outside in the warm sunshine, and gardening.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents. Donna is survived by her husband, Steve Wagner, daughter Lindsay (Bill) Grenier, son Kurt (Anne) Wagner, three grandsons Cole, Jonah, and Evan, her sister, Peggy (Dean) Spiegel, and several nieces and nephews. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all. A celebration of life may be held at a later date.
