Donna M. Grimes, 73, of Greensburg, passed away at 11:28 a.m. on Tuesday,
December 19, 2023 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. She was
born on September 4, 1950 in Greensburg, the daughter of Clinton D. and Anna
(Humphrey) Baldwin. She was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and a 1968
graduate of Sandcreek High School and a graduate of Indiana Business College.
She retired in 2013 from MainSource Bank after 18 ½ years of service. Donna was
a member of Rockcreek Baptist Church, Harmony Quilters and a member of the
former Westport American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed quilting, reading,
traveling and gardening. Donna married Donald L. Grimes on May 18, 1974 in
Westport and he survives. Other survivors include daughters, Tammy (Joe)
Stilwell of North Vernon, Amanda (Gene Hayenga) Head of Cookeville, TN and Amy
(Doug) Smith of Greensburg; son, Troy Grimes of Seymour; 6 grandchildren and 13
great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister,
Connie England. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December
23, 2023 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. According to Donna’s wishes
she will cremated. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, December 23
from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Online condolences can be
