Eleanor Louise Huey, 91, of Greensburg, passed away at 8:15 A.M on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg. She was born on January 9, 1930 in Decatur County, the daughter of Ralph & Mayme (Koeighkramer) Miller. She was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and a 1947 graduate of Napoleon High School. Eleanor retired in 2000 from the Greensburg Jr. High School cafeteria after 26 years of service. She was a member and served as a deaconess at the Union Baptist Church and the Mission Circle. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting antiques and working with flowers. She married Billy Gene Huey on December 7, 1952 at Napoleon Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2017. Survivors include her children, Ronald (Janice) Huey, Shirley (David) Dotson, Wayne (Darlene) Huey, Bonnie (Mike) Robbins, Gerald (Susan) Huey; her grandchildren, Tammy Maze, April Huey, Christina Newby, Melissa Everhart, Michael Dotson, Crystal Burrows, Heather Swymeler, Sarah Robbins, Scott Robbins, Andrew Robbins, Katie Noah and Russel Huey; her great grandchildren, Keaton Maze, Ashton Maze, Cody Lanning, Colton Burnham, Trevor Newby, Conner Newby, Parker Newby, Jacob McCorkhill, Emerson Everhart, Keyonie Purcell-Gilpin, Dylan Burrows, Noah Burrows, Johnathon Swymeler, Shelby Barmann, Derek Swymeler, Caleb Robbins, Brooklyn Robbins, Blayne Hobbs, Eleanor Noah, Lilly Huey, Jocelyn Huey, William Huey and Bo Huey; great-great grandchildren, Ariel Swymeler and Austin Purcell-Gilpin. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Irene Kunz and Ilene Schwier; brothers, Mervin Miller and Delbert Miller and great grandson, William Edward Maze. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 05, 2021 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Steve Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Cemetery. A time of visitation will be on Monday, July 05, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the the funeral home.
