Jimmie Joe Morris, 66, of Greensburg, passed away at 2:50 P.M. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on
October 16, 1954 in Greensburg, the son of Roy M. & June (Marcum) Morris. He lived in Greensburg the majority of his life and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greensburg. He was the manager at QuickLube in Shelbyville.
Jimmie enjoyed playing dominoes and poker. He married Peggy Sue Mattingly on March 21, 2003 in Greensburg and she survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Angela (Ron) Trepanier and step daughter, Jenny Thomas both of Greensburg; brother, Everett Wayne Thompson of Indianapolis; 3 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. According to his wishes he will be cremated, there will be no visitation or services. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport has been entrusted with the arrangements.
