John Frederick Adderley, 69

John Frederick Adderley, 69, of Greensburg, passed away at 9:15 p.m. on
Saturday, October 2, 2021 at his residence. He was born on September 28, 1952 in
St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Boyd and Joyce (Cross) Adderley. John was born
and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from Jennings Senior High School
and from Ranken Tech College, both in St. Louis and he had received several
certificates in many different engineering fields. He was an engineer having
retired in 2016 from the City of Tucson. He had also worked for Monsanto at the
Life Science Headquarters. He was a veteran having served with the U.S. Navy in
Vietnam on the USS Epperson. John was an avid Ham Radio operator and enjoyed
traveling in the southwest. He married Peggy Kansteiner in St. Louis on May 1,
1982 and she preceded him in death on February 16, 2015. Survivors include his
son, Shannon (Nancy) Adderley of Greensburg; his sister, Tammy Adderley of St.
Louis, Missouri; his brother, David (Maria) Adderley of St. Louis, Missouri; his
grandchildren, Jessica, David & Cameron; his great grandchildren, Orion &
Rayden; his nephews, Jared & Aaron and niece, Hanna; great niece, Lydia. He was
preceded in death by his wife, parents and great grandson, Jax Lakes. Following
his wishes he will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later
date in Missouri. The Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport has been entrusted
with handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made through the
