Leo C. Haunert, 83, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg.
Born, February 9, 1937 in Decatur County, Indiana, he was the son of Henry J. and Frances L. (Wenning) Haunert.
Leo graduated from Clarksburg High School in 1955. He served in the Army National Guard. He retired after 40 plus years at Bohn Aluminum in Greensburg. He was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in St. Maurice. He was married to Jo Ann Siebert on February 11, 1961 and she survives. He is also survived by eight children, Larry (Melinda) Haunert, Waldron, Denise (Tom) Leffel, Greensburg, Jim (Becky) Haunert, Rushville, Mary J (Chris) Rayner, Greenwood, Steve (Heather) Haunert, Abbeville, GA., Amy Haunert, Louisville, Beth (Dave) Koester,
Batesville, David H. Haunert, Greensburg; one brother, Robert (Marie) Haunert, Greensburg; one sister, Anna Mae Ricke, Greensburg; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Rita Litmer, Mary Krekeler, Dorothy Greenway.
