Mary Francis Lamb, 80, of Greensburg, passed away at 4:59 p.m. on Saturday, July
15, 2023, at the IU Heath – Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on
September 7, 1942, in Shelbyville. She was the daughter of Elza & Hattie (Hauk)
Pike. She was born and raised in Shelbyville and was a former resident of
Colorado. Mary enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cross stitch and painting crafts.
She married Donald Lamb on July 3, 2003, in Colorado and he survives. They have
been married for 20 years but have known each other since 1952 and were
neighbors when growing up. Other survivors include her daughter, Tracy (Jay)
Barner of Colorado; her sons, Jeff Watkins of Colorado, Gregory D. (Teresa)
Watkins of Greensburg, and Scott Watkins of Shelbyville; She also has eight
grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents and her sister, Marjorie Ivie. Following her wishes she will be
cremated. There will be no public visitation or funeral. The Bass & Gasper
